WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- The Texas Association of Broadcasters issued the following news:
The last national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) seems like ages ago, even though it just happened Aug. 7. The test was meant to ascertain the operational status of the broadcast-based daisy chain method of national EAS alert delivery.
Several broadcasters took advantage of TAB's ETRS Form Two filing party at TAB's Annual Convention and Tradeshow that afternoon as stations . . .
