NEW YORK, Sept. 9 -- The New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued the following news release:
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced it has appointed Abbey Collins as Chief Communications Officer. Ms. Collins will oversee all aspects of strategic communications for the agency. She joins the MTA as the agency is implementing a bold transformation to improve service for the more than six million riders who rely on the system every day.
