Rep. Spano Issues Statement on Pedophile Bill

WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 -- Rep. Ross Spano, R-Florida, issued the following statement after adding 22 cosponsors for the No Pensions For Pedophiles Act (H.R. 3816), which would qualify federal crimes related to the sexual abuse of children as additional criteria for losing one's federal pension:
"There is simply no rationale for using taxpayer dollars to pay those who have inflicted so much pain and trauma on children.
