Today, the U.S. Department of Labor released its Employment Situation Report for August 2019, showing that the American economy added 130,000 jobs, the unemployment rate remained at 3.7, wages increased over 3% from the previous year, and labor force participation and the number of Americans marked as 'employed' experienced positive gains.
