PEN America: Cameroonian Rapper and Activist to Appear Before Court, Could Face Death Penalty

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 -- PEN America issued the following news release:

The arrest, ongoing detention, and charges against Cameroonian rapper Gaston Serval Abe, known as Valsero, are inexcusable violations of artistic freedom of expression, PEN America said in a statement today.
