RALEIGH, North Carolina, Sept. 5 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following statement on Hurricane Dorian:
"As Hurricane Dorian makes its way across North Carolina, we are seeing our first responders and local, state and federal officials working around the clock to ensure the safety of North Carolinians.
"It is vital that every North Carolinian follows the evacuation orders and warnings of the Governor and local governments and also be mindf . . .
