ALBANY, New York, Sept. 4 -- Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy issued the following news:
Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy today announced with Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, Sr. that investigators within the Welfare Fraud Unit of the Albany County Department of Social Services have uncovered $105,353 worth of alleged welfare fraud involving nine individuals.
The length of time the fraud was committed ranged from just over a year to more than 4.5 years. . . .
