HONOLULU, Hawaii, Sept. 4 -- Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, ranking member of the Senate Appropriations subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, issued the following statement after the Trump administration announced it would defund two military projects in Hawai'i to pay for a wall on the southern border:
