VERMILLION, South Dakota, Sept. 3 -- The University of South Dakota issued the following news:
The University of South Dakota will host Sharron Ahtone Harjo (Kiowa) for the 30th Annual Oscar Howe Memorial Lecture Sept. 19 from 7-8 p.m. in Farber Hall located inside Old Main on the USD campus. A public reception for Ahtone Harjo will immediately follow the lecture in the Oscar Howe Gallery. The lecture and reception are free and open to the public.
