NEW YORK, Sept. 1 -- The World Jewish Congress issued the following statement by President Ronald S. Lauder:
The World Jewish Congress has welcomed the opening of Honduras' new trade office in Jerusalem, which will hold diplomatic status.
"Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has taken a praiseworthy step today in underscoring his country's true friendship with the State of Israel and affirming Honduras' recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's rightful capital.& . . .
