PIERRE, South Dakota, Aug. 30 -- The South Dakota Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao has announced the recipients of $225 million in Competitive Highway Bridge Program (CHBP) grant funding. South Dakota was one of 18 states to receive a portion of this funding to make critical upgrades to select bridges in rural areas.
The project selected for a $2.2 million award bundled four bridges in Butte, Me . . .
