RALEIGH, North Carolina, Aug. 30 -- The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services issued the following statement by Commissioner Steve Troxler on the waiving of motor vehicle regulations to help farmers:
"Due to the approach and potential impacts of Hurricane Dorian, the Governor has declared a State of Emergency for North Carolina.
