MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 30 -- Gov. Tony Evers, R-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
Gov. Tony Evers today signed Executive Order #42 as Hurricane Dorian approaches Florida, authorizing Maj. Gen. Don Dunbar, Wisconsin's adjutant general, to call elements of the Wisconsin National Guard to state active duty to assist civil authorities in Florida. The order also directs all state agencies to assist the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs in responding to the situation. . . .
