ATLANTA, Georgia, Aug. 28 -- Clark Atlanta University issued the following news release:
Clark Atlanta University Interim President Lucille H. Mauge today announced her plans to retire from the institution by the end of the year. Ms. Mauge was appointed Interim President and Chief Operations Officer of Clark Atlanta University by the Board of Trustees in January 2019. In accepting the role, she became the first woman to lead the institution since Atlanta University (founded in 1865) . . .
