Sen. Murphy Issues Statement on President Trump Diverting FEMA Funds to Support Immigration Agenda

WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- Sen. Christopher Murphy, D-Connecticut, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement on reports that the Trump administration will divert millions of dollars of Federal Emergency Management Agency funds to support the President's immigrant agenda:
"The Trump administration has attempted to illegally deny much needed federal aid to Puerto Ricans once before, and it's shameful he is doing it again the eve of a major storm. . . .
