WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- Sens. Christopher Murphy, D-Connecticut, and Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut, issued the following joint statement in response to news that William Nardini has been nominated to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Barbara Jongbloed as a U.S. District Court Judge for Connecticut:
