ATLANTA, Georgia, Aug. 28 -- Gov. Brian P. Kemp, R-Georgia, issued the following news release:
Following Senator Johnny Isakson's statement regarding his resignation from the U.S. Senate, effective December 31, 2019, Governor Brian P. Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp issue the following statements:
"No one embodies the heart and soul of Georgia more than Johnny Isakson," said Governor Kemp. "Our state and country have been immeasurably blessed by his leader . . .
