Alliance Defending Freedom Issues Statement on Vermont Medical Center Forcing Nurse to Assist in Abortion

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, Aug. 28 -- The Alliance Defending Freedom issued the following statement by Senior Counsel Denise Burke regarding the announcement by the Health and Human Services' Office for Civil Rights that it is giving the University of Vermont Medical Center 30 days to change its policies after it broke the law by forcing a Catholic nurse to assist in an abortion:
