County Awarded $2.25 Million Grant for New 911 Center

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina, Aug. 27 -- Cumberland County issued the following news release:

Cumberland County made two announcements today about its 911 Call Center.

The County has been awarded a grant totaling $2,251,387 from the North Carolina 911 Board for the new 911 Call Center to be located in the future Emergency Services Building at 500 Executive Place. The money will help fund renovation, hardware, equipment and associated technology costs for the call center . . .
