American Bar Association: As Threats Intensify, Judges Urge Colleagues to Speak Out

CHICAGO, Illinois, Aug. 26 -- The American Bar Association issued the following news release:
U.S. District Court Judge James Robart received more than 100 death threats after ruling against the Administration's first travel ban in February 2017. Most came after the president called Robart a "so-called judge" and tweeted, "Just cannot believe a judge would put our country in such peril. If something happens, blame him and court system."
