EL PASO, Texas, Aug. 21 -- Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, issued the following statement on the Trump administration's decision to terminate the Flores settlement agreement and detain migrant children and families indefinitely:
"The Trump administration's immigration plan is clear: erode asylum laws and change immigration rules in order to keep brown and black immigrants out of our country by either pushing their misery into another country, or by creating misery for them here . . .
