WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement on Planned Parenthood's exit from Title X family planning program:
"Planned Parenthood is one of the nation's most trusted health care providers, which is why the Trump administration forcing Planned Parenthood and other providers out of the Title X program for birth control and family planning through the Domestic Gag Rule is outrageous.
