WHITE PLAINS, New York, Aug. 19 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17/Rockland-Westchester), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, today announced $1 million in federal funding for the White Plains Housing Authority (WPHA) to address lead hazards in apartment buildings on South Lexington Avenue.
