NEW YORK, Aug. 19 -- The Drug Policy Alliance issued the following statement by Executive Director Maria McFarland Sanchez-Moreno in response to 2020 presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders adding supervised consumption sites to his criminal justice platform:
