WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) today joined U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen, along with Congressman Steny Hoyer (all D-Md.), in announcing more than $1 million in federal funding for two disaster resiliency research projects in Maryland through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
