Rep. Cicilline Issues Statement on Trump Administration's Rule on Protections for Women, LGBTQ

PAWTUCKET, Rhode Island, Aug. 15 -- Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee and co-chair of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus, issued the following statement after the Trump administration announced plans to roll back protections for women and LGBTQ that are employed by federal contractors:

"President Trump has shown time and time again that he has no regard for the diversity that makes our nation so strong.
