Rep. Roy Issues Statement on Hong Kong Protests

WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following statement regarding the Hong Kong protests:
"I commend those brave men & women standing for freedom against mainland China's authoritarian encroachment on the rights of the people of Hong Kong and their ability to practice self-governance.
"While it looks like the tides may be shifting as pressure has intensified on the Chinese communist government and the pro-democracy protestors in Hong . . .
