ANN ARBOR, Michigan, Aug. 15 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, issued the following statement in response to what she calls the rise of hateful rhetoric, attacks and division across the country.
"We must stop the hateful rhetoric and targeting of people based on religion, race, national origin, sex, and color. When I meet with members of the Jewish and Muslim communities they tell me how scared they are.
