WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Nebraska, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Oversight Subcommittee, wrote to Attorney General Bill Barr, demanding that the Department of Justice investigate Jeffrey Epstein's apparent suicide and fire those who let this happen.
"The Department of Justice failed, and today Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirators think they might have just gotten one last sweetheart deal . . .
