NORRIS, Tennessee, Aug. 13 -- The Tennessee Valley Authority issued the following news release:
The Tennessee Valley Authority will begin site preparations on August 19 in order to work on existing transmission lines in the western section of Norris Dam State Park to maintain reliable power in the area. TVA is working closely with the park to ensure protection of natural resources.
