NEW YORK, Aug. 13 -- UNITE HERE, a labor union for workers in the hotel, gaming, food service, manufacturing, textile, distribution, laundry, transportation and airport industries in the U.S. and Canada, issued the following statement by President D. Taylor on what he called the Trump administration's racist attack on immigrant families - a rule that gives preferential treatment to wealthier immigrants seeking legal status:
