QUEENS, New York, Aug. 12 -- Rep. Grace Meng, D-New York, issued the following statement on the public charge rule:
"President Trump's public charge rule is another ruthless and callous attack on immigrant communities. This cruel and un-American plan penalizes those who are in the U.S. legally.
