WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Michael B. Enzi, R-Wyoming, issued the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency announced that it is granting 31 small refinery exemptions:
"I am glad the EPA recognized that exemptions from the Renewable Fuel Standard are necessary for small refineries to compete," Enzi said. "The energy industry is essential to Wyoming's economy and our nation's energy independence.
