WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, issued the following statement regarding the Environmental Protection Agency's prescribed fire guidelines:
The announcement comes a year after Walden brought EPA Region 10 administrator to Medford to meet with concerned citizens, community leaders, and business owners to discuss the impact of wildfire smoke on people's health.
