BATTLE CREEK, Michigan, Aug. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency issued the following news:

DLA Disposition Services sites worldwide will observe two weeks of reduced operations Sept. 9-20 as agency personnel conduct a required annual inventory of all items in the organization's possession.
Requisitions for military units with a critical mission need will continue to be honored and picked up/shipped during the inventor . . .
