WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 -- The National Partnership for Women and Families issued the following statement by President Debra L. Ness:
"Today marks a tremendous victory for working people, families and businesses in Oregon as Gov. Kate Brown signed into law the nation's ninth statewide paid family and medical leave program. This latest paid leave win means working Oregonians will no longer have to choose between economic security and taking time to care for themselves or a loved one . . .
