Brennan Center for Justice Issues Statement on Bipartisan Redistricting Reform Bill

NEW YORK, Aug. 9 -- Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law issued the following statement by Yurij Rudensky, counsel in Brennan's Democracy Program and adviser to New Hampshire legislators, on the bipartisan redistricting reform bill (H.B. 706):

"It is shortsighted of Republican Governor Chris Sununu to veto this bipartisan bill that would end partisan gerrymandering in New Hampshire. With his veto, the governor is throwing out a plan that would ensure . . .
