Federal Emergency Management Agency: Flood Insurance Important Resource for South Dakotans

PIERRE, South Dakota, Aug. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

Many South Dakotans may believe they don't need to buy flood insurance. Their house has never flooded before. They don't live in a high-risk flood zone.
