WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from the Economics Daily:
Of the 51 metropolitan areas with a 2010 Census population of 1 million or more, New Orleans-Metairie, Louisiana, had the highest unemployment rate in June 2019, 5.0 percent. Austin-Round Rock, Texas; San Francisco-Oakland-Hayward, California; and San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, California, had the lowest unemployment rates among these large metropol . . .
