WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following statement after General Motors announced it will be bringing new work to its plant in Lockport, New York:
"This is a win-win-win that will benefit GM, the world-class UAW workers at Lockport, and the Western New York economy.
"This is exactly why I fought so hard to keep open this plant and have GM acquire the plant from Delphi during the Great Recession and auto bailout.
