PIERRE, South Dakota, Aug. 7 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
While the deadline to register for federal disaster assistance has passed, the State of South Dakota, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and other federal partners continue to work on recovery for South Dakota communities impacted by the severe storms and flooding in April and May.
