WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following statement on the shooting of West Virginia State Trooper Josh M. Tallman in Pocahontas County:
"Gayle and I are deeply saddened to hear of the shooting of State Trooper Josh M. Tallman in the line of duty last night in Pocahontas County.
