DALLAS, Texas, Aug. 3 -- Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, issued the following statement regarding the shooting in El Paso, Texas:
"I am heartbroken to hear of yet another tragic and senseless shooting, this time in my home state of Texas.
"My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones, but our thoughts and prayers can no longer be treated as a sufficient response.
"We must move now to enact meaningful reform to combat . . .
