DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 5 -- Gov. Kim Reynolds, R-Iowa, issued the following news release:
Gov. Kim Reynolds ordered all state flags in Iowa to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset on Thursday, August 8, 2019, in honor and remembrance of the tragic shootings on August 3, 2019, in El Paso, Texas, and on August 4, 2019, in Dayton, Ohio.
The governor's order is issued in conjunction with President Donald Trump's proclamation to lower all United States . . .
