West Texas Nursing Graduates Excel at National Exams

CANYON, Texas, Aug. 2 -- West Texas A&M University issued the following news:

Nursing graduates at West Texas A&M University are passing national licensing exams with top scores.

The university's five-year, first-time pass rate for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is 96.75 percent, according to the Texas Board of Nursing. The national average is 85.15 percent; the average in Texas is 88.95 percent.
