ACLU of Texas Issues Statement on Mass Shooting in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas, Aug. 4 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas issued the following statement on the mass shooting in El Paso:
"Our staff in El Paso and across the state are heartbroken over this weekend's attack, in which 20 lives were taken on what should have been a routine shopping day preparing for the first day of school.
"Our hearts and sympathies go out to those whose loved ones lost their lives or were injured in this tragedy, and we continue . . .
