WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, issued the following statement on William Perry Pendley serving as Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management:
"Perry Pendley's experience dealing with public land issues and fighting for Wyoming makes him an excellent choice as Acting Director for the BLM.
