NEW YORK, Aug. 2 -- The Counter Extremism Project issued the following news release:
On July 24, 2019, a suicide bomber walked into a high-level security meeting in the mayor's office in Mogadishu, Somalia's capital, and detonated explosives. The attack has killed seven people, including the mayor, Abdirahaman Omar Osman, and seriously injured several others.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, but stated that the intended target was James Swan--an America . . .
