WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
Rep. Ron Kind voted for the bipartisan Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, which would implement a nationwide caller authentication system, free for consumers, so they can again trust that the number they see on their caller ID is actually the person calling them. It would also give law enforcement and the Federal Communications Commission critical tools, information, and incentives to go after robocallers . . .
