FEMA Awards Clay County Nearly $2 Million for Hurricane Irma Expenses

ORLANDO, Florida, July 30 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

FEMA has approved $1,969,981 for the State of Florida to help Clay County defray the costs of debris removal for Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.

FEMA funds will reimburse the county for the collection, removal and disposal of debris within Clay County between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17, 2017 following the Septemb . . .
